One of the perks of working where I work: a chance to enjoy the Gator Bowl and invite friends along. I doubt there could have been a more perfect day for the bowl game. And while neither team had an amazing season leading up to this showdown, the game was still fun to watch and the overall event fun to experience.

Along with tickets to the game, we got access to the Budweiser Tailgate Party.

The UF band came out for a bit…and started off their performance by “Tebowing” to the cheering Gator fans.

We also got to hang out a bit in the Times-Union Touchdown Party. We got all-you-can-eat Bono’s Bar-B-Q.

Some people are garnet and gold to the core…even in enemy territory.

Best weather ever for game day.
