Dawn Patrol Marathon-Style - In Photography

The quest for the longest surf session every seemed a little easier as the morning dawned early Thursday morning. It wasn’t the most colorful sunrise I’ve seen, yet it was one of the most stunning. I think it helped to boost Kurtis’ resolve in finishing this marathon surf session to benefit and raise funds for The National Marathon To Finish Breast Cancer.

The early morning didn’t present a problem to the many surfers who turned out to be in the line up with Kurtis. It was like watching a changing of the guard as they came and went.
